Good Morning

My dad just woke me up for breakfast. It's a Saturday! and still, I have to wake up at 6:42 am -_-. Oh the errands lined up for the day! I am still a sleepy head. Major dragging out of bed again. I had breakfast sausages and bread while having a weird conversation with my mom. The moment I sat in my chair... Mom: I forgot to tell you that I bought you a large Cherry Garcia! Lica: Wow thanks! (me trying to be enthusiastic despite my bubble sleepy head) but I was enthusiastic! it's CHERRY GARCIA! my favorite ice cream next to Selecta's Hazelnut Mom: Sino bang spoiled kay mommy? Lica: Me. (monotonic voice) Mom: Sino bang spoiled kay daddy? Lica: Me. (monotonic voice) Mom: Sino bang spoiled brat? Lica: Me. (still monotonic) Okay already! I got it. I know I am spoiled since the day I learned to say the magic words, "can I have *name of something super significant...or not*? haha. This is the reason why I truly believe I came from a weird family and me being weird in it. Another weird conversation in front of the computer just seconds ago. Dad: Lica, pakita mo naman sa akin yung mga comments mo sa facebook... Lica: Okay here's one. *I opened my "Late Night Photography" album*. Julienne Nido at 11:55pm July 9 goodjob ka! ok yun .. the bentilador. :D hahaha! __________________ Anjelica L. Toledo at 11:56pm July 9 :)) haha thanks! Oo nga eh, dapat may caption pa yan eh..."Lonely, I'm Mr. Lonely hahaha" ___________________ Julienne Nido at 11:57pm July 9 hahaha!! galeng! :D ___________________ Anjelica L. Toledo at 11:58pm July 9 aww hahaha thanks Jules! praise God haha.:D ___________________ Dad:(reads slowly) good job ka! ok yun..the bentilador. D(yes the letter) ha ha ha. Lica: Dad, hindi yan D, smiley face yan! Dad:(reads slowly) ha ha thanks! pati yan smiley face yan? *pertaining to :))* Lica: Yeah. Dad:(reads slowly) Ow(as in synonymous to ouch), ha ha ha thanks Jules! Lica: Dad, that's aww! not ow..awwww.. Dad: ah! bakit ganyan kayo magsalita..puro ha ha ha? Generation gap. It is sometimes kind of hard to explain "the way things" are to parents. Just as they don't understand me at times, I don't understand them as well. Talk about getting lost in translation ha ha ha. HAHAHA! Still, I love them both to death! and my Rainman moment.. Dad: So that is how much we sold your car. (dad showed me my CR-V's Deed of Absolute Sale statement) Lica: We sold it for 495 thousand! 5 pesos na lang to make it 500, bakit hindi niyo pa sinagad? Dad: Hindi yan 5 pesos okay, 5 thousand. Ano yun, tumawad siya ng 5 pesos? Lica: Ah onga noh. Sorry. Stupid girl. Mind you, I am not always this stupid okay hehe.

I am talking to a friend

at 1:12 am It made me realize how much I miss her and my other friends. Growing up in an all girls' school has not only taught me to fight for womens' rights (yeah right.), but also to fight like a WOMAN! gone are the days when women are ought to be demure, meek and gentle. Sometimes, you really need to unleash your inner tigress (as my friend calls it). Forgive my language but it's a bitch's world when you're with women. Welcome to the haven of backbiting, rolling of eyes and flipping of the hair. Let's face it, it's reality. Yet, at the end of the day, I still choose to keep my 'bitchiness' to myself haha. I love my gentle nature haha! (at times)
GOOD NIGHT.

Oh, yes I am!

Marcus.

HAS ARRIVED!! The moment I left my room for dinner, my dad surprised me with my new car!!
Another addition to our family of black Autobots!
I am going to love Marcus with all my heart! hehe. :) I am just so happy! This day has turned out well. Praise God. My dad and I talked for awhile while inside the car. He told me that I should be so blessed that I was able to get a car without any occasion and means of paying for gas. Majority of the kids my age do not have a job and a car thus he said I should always remember of the things I have rather than those that I wish I had. Having Marcus entails a lot of responsibility: 1) Making sure it's clean at all times. 2) Making sure it has enough gas for all kinds of trips. 3) Making sure that I won't let anyone 'suspicious' ride in my car. 4) Love it and take care of it. 5) Making sure that I avoid all kinds of contact towards boys my parents do not approve of (yes this is important haha.) and one more thing, I just realized I am so google-able! grabe, the moment i typed in my name, nakita ko yung iba't ibang accounts ko! scary haha.

I had enough.

rest today! yey! I slept for about 3 hours this afternoon and watched tv for around 2 hours or so. Sinong tamad? haha! I took my exam in BDI for CCF today. It was different from the other exams I took...it was more of an EQ assessment kind of thing. Mashadong natest yung personality ko to the point that I got really drained. The last time I took a test like that must have been first year college? one of those guidance exams to see which kind of job and environment you'll fit in best. I guess our church was kind of doing the same thing...just to check if I was A-OK for the position I am applying for. I woke up around 6:45 this morning. As usual, I had to drag myself out of bed again because I slept at 2 am! I was so addicted to editing my clothes and making it look a la Polyvore (http://www.polyvore.com)
SEE?? ADDICT.
But I must say, I did pretty well. I did another one kanina kaya lang my laptop suddenly shut down! Kainis, walang autosave ang adobe! i lost it! Kaasar. Anyway, my exam was at 8 and I reached the place around 7:30. I thought Manda will be traffic due to La Salle and Poveda that's why I left extra early. To my dismay, I reached the place earlier than I expected to the point that I had to wait outside because the office was still closed. Outside the building ha, where the cars are all parked! Sabi nung guard, wala daw kasing hintayan sa loob. Kaasar ulit. I had some extra time to read. Guess what I was reading! Haha. No I am not 'sabik'. No I am not in a hurry to find love (although sometimes I think I am)...I only want to put things in the right perspective. Media has played around with my mind for a lot of times that I have confused reality with fantasy. I just need to put things in God's angle. I will share some interesting insights I found in the book later. The test started around 8:30 I think. Anyway to cut a long story short, it was not so bad. After the exam, I had an interview with a psychologist for about 10 to 15 minutes. She was asking me about my work principles, strengths and weaknesses, fears, the usual! Nothing I have not heard before. I got home earlier than expected again! Ms. Edna of HR told me it will take me the whole day to finish the whole process. Thank God it was not that long. Yey. Hay. Afternoon. It was raining hard again. Afternoon chenes. I hate the fact that my laptop's always shutting down by itself. I don't think it has something to do with the virus because the system is clean. I think it has something to do with the mechanism itself. I found a letter I did before for someone I fell madly in love with. Actually those scribbles were as recent as 2 weeks ago, I think. I am really bad at letting go but at least I am not doing anything about my emotions. I have been sane for almost a month now. Yey me. My stuff are still scattered on the floor. My shoes and bag are disorganized altogether. Also, I took a picture of my favorite ballpens! Are they not cute??? I love those kinds of pens! Yung mga cute stuff. I feel so much like a girl when I use them (channeling Elle Woods). I took a photo of my Vietnam girl figurine which I bought in Vietnam last May. I love her because she's small and purple. That doesn't make sense haha. I love buying small souvenirs from the places I visit, especially those from different countries. Time to eat dinner first.
